Jockers, Dolores Marie “Dee”, 80, of St. Petersburg passed away February 15, 2022, at Northside Hospital under Hospice care. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and raising her children in Queens, she moved to St. Petersburg in 1979. She was preceded in death by her parents, 9 siblings and beloved husband, Thomas Jockers.  Dolores is survived by her sons, Louis Rimi (Debra) and John Anthony Rimi; her daughter, Dolores Stabile (Vincent) and stepdaughter, Nancy Angel (Dave), along with her grandchildren, Stephanie Lightfield (Adam), Christopher Rimi (Matt Maguire), Nicholas Stabile (Jodi), Matthew Rimi von Barton (Geoff) and her three great grandchildren, Carter, Edyn and Gavin Lightfield. She is also survived by her two sisters, Frances Mariana and Lucille Fury, as well as many nieces and nephews. Dolores was a very loving and caring person.  Her family meant the world to her and she would do anything to protect them. Her faith was also very important to her as a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.  She loved playing bingo, doing crossword puzzles, disco music and watching NCIS. She even named her cat Gibbs! Dolores was loved by so many for her quick wit, beautiful smile and willingness to help anyone at any time.  She was a marketing coordinator for Bankers Insurance before she retired at the age of 62. Her beautiful smile and loving spirit will be remembered by all who knew her, especially her family.
