Obituary of Anthony Thomas Ostrowski

Anthony “Tony” Thomas Ostrowski - 59 years old, passed away at home on March 7th, 2022, after a fierce battle with pancreatic cancer. Born and raised in St. Petersburg, he graduated from St. Pete High School and went on to become an awesome husband, Dad, brother, uncle, friend, colleague, and leader.

He is survived by his wife Cathie, his son Tyler, his mom Sandy, and her husband Paul, as well as his siblings Teresa, Nicole, Tom and Tim, and his nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind many friends as well as colleagues from the Red Mesa Familia.

As a young man, Anthony became a talented athlete with passion for baseball, wrestling, fishing, cycling and triathlons. He was passionate about developing others – be it at coaching baseball, or others around him in his various leadership positions. Tony started in restaurants when he was a teenager at The Clock Restaurant on 4th St. and throughout his journey, he became a savvy restauranteur and became the first Regional Manager for the Red Mesa Group. He also became an extremely talented farrier and opened his own company under the Red Skye Farrier Service LLC.  Anthony loved his family, nature, animals and the beauty and peace of fishing.

His compassion, unconditional love, and support…as well as beautiful smile… will be remembered and missed by all who knew him.
