Obituary of Leona A. Linabury

Leona Linabury died April 17, 2022, in Bradenton, Florida.  She is survived her two daughters, Joan McDevitt of Pinellas Park, Florida, Linda Scott and her husband, Doug Scott of Ellenton, Florida, and Leona's sister, Marjorie Eads of Woodstock, Georgia.  

Leona, or Lee as most friends and family called her, enjoyed a long career at Florida Power Corporation where she made many lasting friendships.  She was an active volunteer at the Sunshine Senior Center in St. Petersburg, Florida.  Her brother, John Azdell, predeceased her.  

Her husband, Robert Linabury also predeceased her.  They enjoyed many years of travel and retirement together in California and Florida.  Leona will be celebrated at a private family gathering at Bay Pines National Cemetery on May 9, 2022.
