Violet Supak

Obituary of Violet Maria Sophia Supak

Violet Maria Sophia Supak, age 13, passed away on Friday, May 20, 2022. Violet was born in Portland, Oregon, on March 20, 2009. She spent the majority of her childhood in St. Petersburg, Florida. She made lifelong friends during her time at Alegria Montessori Preschool, and many more at James B. Sanderlin IB World School, where she attended kindergarten through 7th grade. She spent many joyous holidays getting together with her cousins and grandparents in Naples, Florida.

A very creative, intelligent and talented person, Violet’s greatest passion was art, and she would spend her days sketching, animating, and designing characters. Her works have been featured at numerous local student art exhibitions, including the Morean and James Museums, and she was very active in an online scene of young animators and illustrators.  Violet was very musical, playing violin, piano and accordion. She’d create songs, stories, outfits, and act in all sorts of ways. She liked making pottery, crafting, playing video games, watching YouTube, listening to music, going to amusement parks, eating snacks, being silly with her sister and friends, and playing with her pets, especially her beloved cat Muffin. Her favorite sport was basketball and favorite foods were chocolate and mac and cheese. She spent many fun, free weekends camping with her “Camping Clan” buddies at Fort De Soto Park.

Our precious Violet was sweet, funny, wise and outspoken. She had a big heart with a great capacity for joy and many strong emotions. Please remember the good times, her kindness and her fun, for that’s who she truly was. Violet is survived and will be forever missed by her parents, Jennifer Saez and Corbin Supak, big sister Ruby Supak, maternal grandparents Jose and Maria Saez, and paternal grandmother Gloria Amescua. May she rest in peace.
