Obituary of Larry Arthur Bragg

Larry Bragg, 79, of St. Petersburg passed away peacefully at home on June 13, 2022.
He was born in  St.Petersburg,Florida on June 22, 1942 to Charles and Georgia Hazel Bragg.

Larry is survived by his wife, Diane of 57 years, son Larry Bragg Jr., of Hawaii; daughter Pam (Gregg) Cromer of Summerville, SC; grandchildren Tristan, Keegan, and Kassidy; siblings Harriet Ann (Jack), Joan, Wesley (Linda), Peggy (Dennis), Darlene (Ed), Steve (Helen), Laura (Gale), Debbie (Charles), Marybeth (Robert), sister-in-law Becky (Chris).
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Tommy Bragg.
He entered the Army in 1964 and served 22 years, including two tours in Vietnam and one year in Korea. Accomplishments include Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal and Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal.
Following his service in the Army Larry worked at Kash  n’ Karry and was the owner/operator of Bragg’s Lawn Service. He was also a lifetime member of VFW Post #6827 and American Legion Post #14.

Larry was a member of First Baptist Church where he served in the Kitchen Ministry and Celebrate Recovery Ministry.
He was always available for his family and friends.
Cherish the experiences shared with Larry as the memories will last forever!  He will be truly missed by all that knew and loved him.
The Celebration of Life for Larry will be held on Friday July 1st at First Baptist Church (1900 Gandy Blvd. N.) 12:00- 1:30. The interment with military honors will be held at Bay Pines National Cemetery at 2:30.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Larry’s honor to American Diabetes Association at diabetes.org.
