Yue Chun Leung Jung, 80 of St. Petersburg, Florida passed away on June 9, 2022.

Yue Chun “Ann” was born in Canton, China on September 1, 1941 as the eldest of six children to Tai King Leung and Sue Wah Cheng.  She married and moved to Florida in 1968.

She and her late husband were restauranteurs in St. Petersburg beginning in the 1960’s. She retired in 2003 after running China Village Restaurant for many years.

Ann loved her grandchildren and family.  She loved music and the piano, teaching students in her early years.  She was a wonderful cook and often invited family and friends over for dinner.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jung T. Gwong “Johnny”, parents, her brother Steve Leung, and her son John G. Jung.

She is survived by her son Ming G. Jung (wife: Darby), her stepson Bing Gwong, her stepdaughter Cindy Johnson, her grandchildren Shelby Jung and Channing Jung, her brothers Tom Leung and Jacob Leung her sisters Lillian Jeng and Mei Leung, her sister-in-law Dih Dih Leung, and also many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, we ask you to consider donating to the American Cancer Society in Ann’s name.

A Private family service will be held in her honor.
