Obituary of Linda Rhodes Salverson

Salverson, Linda R., age 77, of St. Petersburg passed away on June 17, 2022, at St. Anthony’s Hospital. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, she spent her youth being raised between Wisconsin and Massachusetts. She attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater where she met her husband David A. Salverson. They moved to St. Petersburg in August 1969 where they raised their two children. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Dorothy Rhodes; and her husband David A. Salverson. She is survived by her sister Evelyn Rhodes and her brother Andrew Rhodes. Linda is also survived by her daughter Cynthia Dils and her husband James; her son Alan Salverson and his wife Jennifer (Lacy) and her grandchildren Kati, Jaymee and her husband Joze; Daniell and her husband Andrew; Ali, Logan, and Andy. Linda was an active member of the Salty Sisters at the St. Petersburg Yacht Club for over 50 years and an active volunteer at The Christmas Toy Shop Project in St. Petersburg for over 48 years.

Linda’s memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at 10:00am at The Gathering Church, located at 4400 Shore Acres Blvd. NE, St. Petersburg, Florida. Post memorial service family visitation will be held on site at the church.
