Obituary of Giuseppe DiCosola

Giuseppe “Joe” DiCosola, 48, of St. Petersburg, Florida passed away on August 15, 2022. 

Joe was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida, and attended St. Jude’s Catholic School and Dixie Hollins High School.  

Joe is survived by his father and step mother, Saverio “Sam” and Maureen DiCosola, his three sons, Riley, Brendan, and Aiden DiCosola, and his brothers and sisters, and their families, Frank(Donna) DiCosola, Nicholas DiCosola, and Kat Horner, Misee (Mark) Rocha, & Steven Horner. 

Joe was a loving father, son, and brother, who always made an impression, with a  uniquely quick and infectious sense of humor, that could create the most memorable laughs and memories, from even the most innate things, but which are constantly brought up in daily conversations, resulting in big smiles and laughter.

Joe was truly a unique and resilient man, who overcame many challenges. He will always be loved and remembered by all of his family and friends, as he had a very special way of connecting with whomever he met.  

His three sons are, and always will be, the most important thing to him, in the entire world, as he would do anything and everything he could to show them his love, and did so in many ways. 

His charm and smile were truly one in a million, and his passion, talent and exceptional skills in the world of automobile collision repair made him well known in the Tampa Bay Area, as one of the very best in the industry, as his career spanned nearly 35 years, as he begin doing so, at the very early age of 13 painting automobiles.

Joe’s memorial service will be held on Monday, August 22nd, 2022 at 9:30 a.m., at the Cathedral at St. Jude’s, in St. Petersburg, Florida.
