Obituary of Paula Kay Rice

Paula Kay Rice, 57, of St Petersburg, Florida passed away Saturday Morning, October 15, 2022. She was born in Greenfield, Indiana and graduated from Dilce Combe's High School in Jeff, Kentucky. Paula moved to Florida at the age of 18 where she attended some college classes.

Paula was preceded in death by her mother, Hannah Cochran, and brothers Tommy Ray Rice and Michael Cochran. 

Paula was survived by her father- Bernard Ray Rice, Step-mother - Nancy Stidham and siblings, Mary Sue Bennati, Jeneen Hendrix-Smith, James Hendrex, brother-in-law Alvin Bennati JR, nephews Trevor Dean Bennati, Alvin Bennati III, and nieces LaHanah Gail Duckworth, Lyndsey Marie Rice, and Desiree Collette. 

Paula loved animals and was a groomer by trade. She loved spending time planting flowers, and hanging out with her dogs, Chewy and George. Paula had a big heart and would give anything she could to those in need. She loved going to Bible Study Fellowship and had a smile that would light up any room.  She had a special way with kids who were drawn to her. She had a childlike spirit and love for Jesus.

She will be greatly missed. 

Her Services will be held at Anderson McQueen Funeral Home, Tyrone Chapel located at 7820 38th Avenue North, St Petersburg, Florida 33710 at 1:00 PM on Monday, October 24th, followed by a burial at Woodlawn Memory Gardens in St. Petersburg, Florida.
