Carol Kryman

Obituary of Carol Kryman

Carol L. Moran-Kryman passed away, at her daughter’s home in Palmetto Friday, October 21. She was 85 years old.

>    Carol was preceded in death by her husband Earl Kryman of 14 years, and one grandson Kyle Moran, 23 years old. She is survived by her older brother Lawrence Schindell, 88,  her 4 children, whom she raised by herself! James Moran, John Moran, Alvin Moran, and Lynne Skinner, her niece Karen Schindell, her grandchildren John Moran Jr., Joel Moran, Christina Moran, Amie Skinner, Kaylan Moran, Lucas Moran, Shelby Skinner, Nina Skinner, Alexander Moran and Corey Moran. Carol had 3 beautiful great grand children Audrina Moran, Cody Toco Jr. and Vincent Moran. Carol was born in Mt. Vernon, NY June 25, 1937 to William L. and Hazel Schindell. Her father was a NY city police officer. William was injured on the job and relocated the family to a small farm just south of Pinellas Park, FL in 1948. Carol and her brother Larry turned from city kids to country bumpkins overnight! With the help of good neighbors, they built a beautiful block home, and finished it in 1953.

>   Carol Graduated from St. Petersburg High school in 1955, where she played clarinet and marched in the High School band. One of her favorite memories was of marching in the band, just behind the dignitaries, in the opening of the original Sunshine Skyway Bridge in 1954! Carol graduated nursing school at Mound Park Hospital, which is now Bayfront Hospital, in 1958. She practiced as an RN for 26 years, then worked in a garment factory and a circuit board factory until retirement. Carol attended Clearview Baptist Church and she did profess faith in Jesus!

>   Spending her teenage years on a farm filled our Mom with a lifelong love of the outdoors, animals and travel. She has passed this love on to all of her children and grandchildren! The memories she gave us all, traveling with us, camping with us (discussing the glory of the Lord in nature) was her most precious gift to her family!

>   Carol’s celebration of life will be Sunday October 30th at 2:00 PM. We ask that you join us in wearing your silliest socks!
