Obituary of Victor Reyes

Victor Carmelo Reyes, 61, of St. Petersburg, FL passed away December 18th, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. 

He was born in Biloxi, MS. November 6th, 1961. He was the much loved and cherished only son of a family with 6 daughters. Once he graduated high school, Victor then received a Certification in construction at Trade School that sustained him thought out his life. Victor joined the service as a US Marine, where he proudly served his county for more than a decade.

After returning home from the military, Victor settled permanently in St. Petersburg, FL.

Victor proudly married his sweetheart Collette Osteen on Valentine's day.

Victor established a very busy construction and remodeling business where he was very well known by his community. He was honest, dependable and always managed to find a way to help out. Victor was loved deeply by his clients and they considered him family. Victor was a very hard working man, a gentleman, where a handshake sealed the deal, and rarely if ever said no.

Victor's smile and laugh would have a way to make your day. He enjoyed fishing,  always enjoyed teaching others skills and especially treasure time with his grandchildren. Victor's heart was bigger then his body, and everyone felt him love.

Victor is survived by his wife Collette, their children MaryJo and Scott; Kervin, and grandchildren Scotty and Sophia. He was preceded in death by his parents Luis A. Reyes and Doris Reyes. Victor is survived and very much loved by many sisters, in-laws, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by so many and always remembered in our hearts.

Victor will be cremated and there will be a celebration of life to be determined at a later date.
