Sympathy Card received from Anne Murphy of Scoops Ice Cream, Ocala, FL:
Received by niece on Jan. 27:
Dear Family & Friends,
Thank you so much for the card. We have it posted on our wall "Scoops Remembers". Although I didn't know her well, she was always a cheerful person when she came with friends for ice cream. She was blessed with a long life.
If you or her friends are ever in Ocala, please stop to say hello. If I'm not there, ask to speak with me. Enjoy this treat (3 Free ice cream cards!) in memory of Anna!
Sincerely,
Anne Murphy

Sympathy Card received from Patricia Hughes of Culver City, CA:
Received by niece on Jan. 21 & she intended to read to all at her aunt's luncheon:
To the family of "Bill" - as I knew her.
I met her in 1970 through a mutual friend. She was there for many of my melt downs and crisis as I worked my way through nursing school. She stayed in touch when I left the state. She's been there all these years, always supportive, always a friend.
Thank you for letting me know. I feel her loss dearly. Patti Hughes

Sympathy Card received from Marlene Kerrigan, Minneapolis, MN:
Received by niece on Jan. 26 & she intended to read to all at her aunt's luncheon:
"Dear Family,
Thank you for letting us know Anna has passed. She was a special person. The last time we came to Florida, she picked us up at the airport in her new van. When we came for the winter, we stayed at Kerry's & Mary Jane's place at Weeki Wachee and came to Largo every couple of weeks. Billie & B.J. kept me supplied with books to read.
Memories keep us going when someone we love leaves our world.
Wishing all comfort & sympathy,
Marlene"

This is a picture her niece, Irene, took the day before she was admitted to the hospital (October 20). A picture of health!

Worked with 'Annie Mae' as we called her at Honeywell, for many years, back in the late 70's early 80's, in the super clean rooms. She became a good friend. Wonderful colleague, good sense of humor. We exchanged Christmas cards for all those years. She bought one of her pups, a beautiful long haired chihuahua she named Precious, from my sister. Always wished I could have surprised her at the bowling alley, but the timing never worked out. Lesson learned-do not put things off or it will be too late. Miss you Annie Mae!
