Simply said, to know her was to love her! I will never forget when she asked me to call her "Mom", my heart overflowed with joy. Mom was extremely protective of her son Chris but we grew close quickly, she accepted me into her family, and she knew I would always take care of her son. I lit the blue candle here because I have never seen such peaceful and brilliant sapphire blue eyes than those of Mom's, especially as she prepared to say goodbye, they said everything she wanted to say.. We held hands at that very moment on 12/15/22 when Mom got her angel wings. I love and miss her deeply, and am sad for losing out on making many more great memories for years to come. But I celebrate her life as the amazing woman, wife, mother, mother in law, nana, relative, and friend she was, and I celebrate the fact that her health battles no longer consume her. This Mom did not give me the gift of life but life gave me the gift of her and I will be grateful to, and cherish her, forever.
