Obituary of Margarita "Margie" Gonzalez-Laughlin

Margarita Margie Gonzalez-Laughlin 91 of St Pete died Tuesday Dec 27. Margie was born in Sabana Grande Puerto Rico. She graduated from Guanica High School in 1946 and moved to Washington DC at the age of 18. She went on to receive a master's degree in English from FSU. While in DC she worked at the Pentagon and for the State dept. 
Margie had a 30-year career as the registrar of The Museum Of Fine Arts in St Pete. She was a 50 yr member of First Pres church St Pete.
She is survived by her son Thomas Scottie Laughlin and sister-in-law JoAnn Fries and many extended family and friends. 
Visitation is January 12th from 3-4pm, Service at 4pm at Anderson McQueen Funeral Home, Northeast Chapel.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Margie's honor to the Museum of Fine Arts St Pete FL.
