Dr. McKay was a tremendous women. I hold her in the highest esteem. She was beautiful and dignified. To have met her was a privilege; to have had her influence on my life for years was… profound.
She offered me solace in the midst of a life of much crisis. She was a safe haven. She offered rest amongst the chaos and sound counsel amongst the chatter. Her wise words are forever written on my heart. Her character and way of being breathed life into me, and gave me a refreshing perspective on myself and others. She was a force of nature that spoke soft and gentle. She was strong, yet oh so gracious and yielding.
How honored I feel that our paths crossed. What tremendous pain I feel that she is now gone. You only ache like this for the truly remarkable ones…
