Obituary of Eva F Gemi

Eva F. Gemi, 89, of St. Petersburg, went home on January 14, 2023 at Aventura at the Bay. She was born in Oreland, PA, raised in Kulpsville, PA and retired to St. Petersburg in 1989. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles E. and Eva F. Weigner; husband, Ralph M. Gemi Sr.; son, Jeffrey Sr.; daughter, Tina; sister, Lillian and brother, Charles. She is survived by her sister, Isabelle Francis; son, Ralph Jr. (Joyce) and their children, Ralph III and Monica; daughter-in-law, JoAnn and her son, Jeffrey Jr.; Daniel, son of Tina, and his wife (Christine); four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Eva always put her family first, and through her many hardships, taught them the true meaning of survival. Eva loved scrapbooking, reading, gardening, collecting stuffed animals, and had an insatiable love of ice cream and caramel Frappés. By her many names, “Mom”, “Nan”, “Grandmom”, was truly loved and will be sadly missed by her friends and family.

A gathering will be held on Thursday, January 19th, 2023 from 10-11 AM at Anderson McQueen Funeral Home, 2201 Dr. MLK Jr. St. N. with a graveside service at 11:30 AM at Memorial Park Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Lansdale, PA.
