To The Bereaved Family of Mrs. Romona Updegraff,
I met Ramona as a medical wife in the Pinellas County Medical Auxiliary organization, composed of wives of the American Medical Association’s State Society. She was an absolutely delightfully friendly person and had a welcoming manner of socializing. She will be missed!
It was the Ancient Egyptians who said that if we should keep the name of the deceased on the tongues of the living, then it would seem as though they have not departed this good earth.
My husband, H. Earl Cotman, M. D. always says at our family funerals that, “We never ever have to think of our loved ones as having passed!”
With the passage of some time, life once again will seem normal.
Respectfully,
Jacqueline Nickson Cotman, A Marquis Who’s Who in America Honoree, 2022-2023

With caring thoughts for the four of you and your families and such warm memories of growing up with your parents in our lives. Your dad was a kind and brilliant man... and your mother; she was such a special woman. What a light and what wonderful laughter. We were all very blessed.
Warmly,
Jennifer Norris Snyder

Ramona and Ambrose Updegraff were shining lights in my life and that of my mom. They extended kindness to us in so many ways. They personified loving one’s neighbor. When we visited their home, or workplace, we were made to feel like part of a beautiful, strong, loving extended family. Thank you Mrs. and Dr. Updegraff.
