Obituary of Edwin Owen Tryon, Jr

Edwin (Ed) Tryon Jr., age 82, of Tampa, FL, passed away February 25th, 2023, at Menorah Life Nursing Center.  He is predeceased by his father, Edwin Tryon Sr., his mother, Ann Tryon, and his son, Owen Tryon.  He is survived by his daughter, Angela Tryon, his son Jason Tryon, daughter-in-law Mindy Tryon, and his ex-wife, Mary Tryon, and his sisters, Janet Williams and Linda Luedde. 

Ed was born in 1941 in Leavenworth, KS.  He served overseas in the U.S. Army from 1959-62, returning to fill a wide array of jobs, from handyman to mechanic, to landscaping.  Anyone who met him knew within minutes the things that were important to him: family, animals, and conversation.  He would do anything for his family and friends.  Lending a hand to family, or running an errand for a friend, he was always willing to help.  His love of animals was a blessing to cats and dogs both near and far, who all received his utmost devotion and care.  Family and friends will miss his lively conversations which were always a hallmark of time spent with Ed.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Anderson McQueen funeral home
