Obituary of Bettye Hart Seaman

Bettye Hart Seaman, Gigi, 92, of St. Petersburg, Florida passed away on March 8th, 2023. She was born in Cross City, Florida on March 29th 1930, to Vivian and Naomi Hart.

She was the First Female President of Beech Mountain in North Carolina. Bettye graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Education and was a Member of the Phi Mu Sorority. She also received a Master's Degree in Chemistry from the University of South Florida. Bettye then spent her professional career as a Junior High School Teacher at Baypoint Junior High.

Her current and past memberships included St. Petersburg Yacht Club, Vinoy Club, University Club of Tampa, and Lakewood Country Club, as well as the Hound Ears Club and Beech Mountain Club in North Carolina. Bettye and her husband were seasonal residents of Beech Mountain, North Carolina.

Bettye is Preceded in death by her loving Husband: John W. Seaman Jr. She is Survived by: Daughter: Susan Schwabinger; Son: Scott Seaman; Granddaughter: Alexis Morabih; Grandson: Bryce Seaman; Great Granddaughter: Laila Morabih; Daughter-in-Law: Brenda Seaman; and Son-in-Law: Keith Schwabinger.
