Obituary of Max Perez, Sr.

Max Perez Sr., 88, of St Petersburg, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Bay Front Hospice.  Born February 24, 1935 in Havana Cuba, he was the son of the late Maximo and Lucmaria (Remolar) Perez.  Max played the conga drum in orchestra in Cuba.  His proudest moment was playing for Nat King Cole. Along with his parents, Maximo and Lucmaria, his brother, Roger and his sister, Marta, preceded him in death.

He will be remembered and missed by his wife of 41 years, Martha Perez; his daughter, Irene (Evaresto) Osorio; his son, Max (Sharon) Perez, Jr; his daughter, Irma (Bill) Simmons; step-daughter, Kathryn Collins; 9 grandchildren, Joanne Morales, Ivan Osorio, Christopher Perez, Max Perez III, Ivonne Carberry, Jennifer Hernandez, Kristina De La Garza, Dylan Jennings, and Devin Jennings; 15 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
