Obituary of Jeanette Greider
Jeanette M. Greider, 87, of Saint Petersburg, Florida, joyfully arrived to her eternal home in heaven, April 5th, 2023. Born and raised in Paterson, New Jersey, Jeanette moved to Saint Petersburg with her family, after retiring as a lifetime employee of AT&T, in the late 1980’s. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Dora Muller. She is survived by her cousin, James Malenzi, her niece, Holly Paceley, her brother, Earl Muller Jr. and her adopted granddaughter, Sadie Kelley. (They adopted each other!)
Jeanette, unmarried, devoted her life without regret to caring for her parents, family and friends. She was an astounding, gifted artist and magnificent cook! She was famous for her chicken chili, manicotti, Italian gravy, meatballs, macaroni and lemon meringue pie. Jeanette loved playing the lottery…which she never did win. Additionally, she was a fun, pure, innocent and genuine Italian woman who loved to flirt, without intention, with handsome men of all ages.
Jeanette loved studying the Bible, praying for people along with being a very effective and active member of Grace Connection Church for 32 years.
Jeanette has been a true and trusted friend who did more things for others behind the scenes than people will ever know. She truly spent her life compassionately placing other’s needs before her own and would do anything to help anyone in a moment’s notice. Her circle of care was large and diverse. She was kind, generous, selfless, loving and caring. Jeanette has been a gift to all of us who have had the privilege of knowing her and living life with her. She ran her race on this earth perfectly. She is deeply loved, appreciated and will forever be missed by all of us.
Jeanette’s burial will be Friday, April 21st, at 3:00 PM at Calvary Cemetery, located at 5233 118th Avenue North in Clearwater, Florida.
Jeanette’s Celebration of Life service will be held at Grace Connection Church at 2:00 PM, Saturday April 22nd located at 5000 10 Street North. We will host a reception following her Celebration of Life serving some of her favorite foods.
