Obituary of Nelson Howes Spaulding

Spaulding, Nelson Howes, 84, of St. Petersburg died Monday Feb. 14, 2000 at Arden Court, Assisted Living Facility in Largo. Born in Alexander, NY, he retired from the Erie Railroad in NY. He came here in 1953 from Attica, NY, and was Supervisor of Traffic Control for the City of St. Petersburg from 1953 until 1980. He was a member of Allendale United Methodist Church, their Methodist Men, and served on the Administrative Council. He belonged to the Civilian Conservation Corporation and Moose Lodge #1145. Survivors include one son, Jerry, Largo, FL; one daughter, Charlotte Greening, Batavia, NY; one sister, Viola Klinzcak, Batavia, NY; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
