Obituary of Maxine G. Reeser

Reeser, Maxine G., 81, of Seminole and formerly of St. Petersburg, died Saturday March 4, 2000 at Casa Celeste Assisted Living in Seminole. Born in Clarion, PA, she owned a beauty salon in Buffalo, NY for twenty years. She moved to Orlando in 1960 where she worked as a receptionist in a beauty salon. She moved to St. Petersburg in 1975 and became the Dean of Girls at Southern Adirondack School and retired from that position in 1984. She was a volunteer for Ronald McDonald House in St. Petersburg and a member of Christ United Methodist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Sherry Betz, St. Petersburg; two granddaughters: Maureen Smith, St. Petersburg; and Kathleen Rautenkranz, Lake Worth, FL; one grandson, Kenneth Betz, St. Petersburg; four great-grandchildren and several nieces.
