Obituary of Julia Wertyporoch

Wertyporoch, Julia, 88, of St. Petersburg, died Sunday March 5, 2000 at St. Anthony?s Hospital. Born in the Ukraine, she came here in 1972 from Brooklyn, NY. She was a teacher in the Ukrainian Public School System. She was a member of the Ukranian American Assoc. SPIFFS; St. Sophia Assoc. Patriarchat Assoc.; Needle Point Assoc. of Pinellas County; Helping Orphans & Blind children in Ukraine; the Ukranian Congress Committee; the Mohyla Academy, Inc.; the Free University of Munich; the Ukranian Word Council; and the Ukranian Museum in New York; and she was a very active member of the Epiphany of Our Lord Ukranian Catholic Church. Survivors include one daughter, Tetiana Silecky, North Port, FL; one niece, Oksana Babiak, Ulm, Germany. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-Ninth Street Chapel, St. Petersburg.
