Obituary of Katherine Marie Galasieski

Galasieski, Katherine Marie, 58, of St. Petersburg, died Monday March 27, 2000 at St. Anthony?s Hospital. She came here in 1982 from her native Mineola, NY and gravitated to the Gulf of Mexico to fulfill her personal dreams. She was employed as a mental health technician at Horizon Hospital, made the Dean?s List at Hillsboro Community College and went on to Eckerd College to continue her education. She was proud to be an animal rights activist. She is survived by two sons: William Marion Dobbeck, St. Petersburg; and Kenneth Dobbeck, Plant City, FL; her father, William, New Hyde Park, NY; her sister, Liz Schaefer, Calverton, NY; her nephew, Gregg Schaefer, Biloxi, MS; and several grandchildren.
