Obituary of Virgenmina M. Huffman

Huffman, Virgenmina M., 85, of St. Petersburg, died Thursday May 4, 2000 at home. Born in Caba Rojo, Puerto Rico, she came here in 1970 from Hampton, VA. She was a School Teacher with the Public School System in Victorville, CA and retired in 1963. She was a 1938 Graduate of Radford College and worked towards her Masters Degree at Columbia University in New York. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Survivors include three daughters: Luz Ann Farley, Houston, TX; Laura O. Flight, St. Petersburg; and Jeanne L. Huffman, Shawsville, VA; one brother, Rafols Morales, Puerto Rico; one sister, Luz M. Amador, Puerto Rico; four grandchildren: Travis W. Flight, Ft. Campbell, KY; Jennifer L. Flight, Miami, FL; Jessica E. Dowd, Rural Retreat, VA; and Jeremy L. Flight, Shawsville, VA; and one great-granddaughter, Kirsten A. Flight, Ft. Campbell, KY. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-Ninth Street Chapel, St. Petersburg.
