BABCOCK, David A. ''Pappy'', 76, of St. Petersburg, died Wednesday, May 17, 2000. He was born in Aylmer, Onterio, Canada and came here in 1973 from Vermont where he was a dairy farmer. Locally, he was the owner and operator of David A. Babcock Trucking. He was a member of Town Apts. Men's Club and Billiards Club and the International Order of Foresters IOOF. During WWII he served in the Canadian Army and during the Korean War he served in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Elizabeth; 5 sons, James and David Babcock of Burlington, VT; Michael Senokossoff of Wenonah, NJ; David Senokossoff and Charles Zerillo both of Clearwater; 5 daughters, Marilyn Hensel of Farifax, VT; Patricia Bromberek of St. Joseph, MI; Ellen Babbitt, Dawn Florence and Kim Taylor all of St. Petersburg; one sister, Marjorie Crawford of Aylmer, Onteraio; 33 grandchildren, 34 grreat great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
