Obituary of Frank B. Hucks

HUCKS, Frank B., 78, of St. Petersburg died Wednesday, May 17, 2000 at Northside Hospital and Heart Institute. He was born in Lodge, SC and came here in 1955 from Agana, Guam. He served 20 years in the united States Coast Guard during WWII and the Korean War and worked 22 years for the U.S. Postal Service in St. Petersburg. He was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church, the St. Petersburg Lions Club and the Coast Guard Chief Petty Officers Association. He is survived by Angele, his wife of 58 years; 2 sons, Robert W. of North Springfield, VA; and John C. of St. Petersburg; one daughter, Sharon K. Buck of Tallahassee; two bothers, Robert P. Hucks of Moncks Corner, SC and Travis Hucks of Summerville, SC; one sister, Elaine H. Moultan of Wayzata, MN; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
