Obituary of Wilma I. Rogers

Rogers, Wilma I., 84, of St. Petersburg, died Tuesday May 30, 2000. She came here in l924 from her native of Amherstburg, Ontario, Canada. She was the widow of J. Henry Rogers, who was a member of a Pioneer Family here in the 1850?s. She was a long-time member of Northside United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker and served as a volunteer for many years at Edward White Hospital and the Masonic Home of Florida. She enjoyed and was known for her many arts and crafts projects and her culinary skills. Survivors include her two daughters: Marilynn R. Myers and Deborah R. Deal, both of St. Petersburg; one sister, Elynor cq Cox, Bushnell, FL; one grandson, Randy Myers and one granddaughter, Meredith ?Muffy? Myers, both of St. Petersburg.
