Smith, Howard F. ?Smitty?, 80, of St. Petersburg, died Wednesday, June 14th, 2000 at St. Anthony?s Hospital after a long illness. He came here in 1952 from his native Wausau, WI and was a carpenter at Pinellas Lumber Company for 33 years. He was an artist and loved woodworking. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Evelyn M.; 2 sons, Bruce W. of St. Petersburg; Gary L. of New Port Richey, FL; 2 brothers, Andrew of Kenosha, WI; David of Mountain Home, Ark; 3 sisters, Grace Staege of Mosinee, WI; Caroline Zelinsky of Rochester, MI; Ethel O?Brien of Lima, NY; 4 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.
