Obituary of Carl Lawson DeLange

DeLange, Carl Lawson, 90, of Gulfport, died Saturday, June 17, 2000 at St. Anthony?s Hospital. Born in Lynchburg, Virginia, he moved here in 1919 from Atlantic City, New Jersey. He was a carpenter for 45 years for various construction companies. He also served in the Army during WW II where he received the Good Conduct Medal, Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Unit Award, WW II Victory Medal, ATO Medal, APTO Medal, and Philippine Lib Ribbon. He was a member of the Carpenter?s local union in St. Petersburg. Survivors include his son, Keith L. of St. Petersburg and three grandchildren; Kory, Kelli, and Kasey all of St. Petersburg. Anderson McQueen Funeral Homes and Cremation Tribute Center-Ninth St. Chapel.
