Obituary of Richard Dick'' David DeMint

DeMint, Richard David ?Dick?, 63, of St. Petersburg, died Friday, June 16, 2000, at home. He came here in 1956 from his native Columbus, Ohio. Locally he was owner and operator of Dick TV & A/C Repair in St. Petersburg. After retiring from his own company, he was employed as a hydraulic installer by Baker Equipment and Engineering in Tampa, FL. He served in the Army during Korea. He was a member of the Moose Lodge #1145, St. Petersburg; Amvets Post # 7467; National Rifle Association; VFW Post 10137 in Bushnell; Volunteer for Pinellas County Government County Commissioners. Survivors include four 4 sons: Richard S. DeMint and Richard D. DeMint, Jr. both of Pinellas Park; William S. DeMint and Thomas J. DeMint both of St. Petersburg; One 1 daughter: Lynda G. DeMint of St. Petersburg; One 1 Sister: Louise Zahareous of Greece; Three 3 Brothers: George DeMint of Hudson, FL; Ken DeMint and Gary DeMint both of Pinellas Park, FL.; Eight 8 Grandchildren.
