Obituary of Cheryl Cherie'' Anne Walsh-Wessel

Walsh-Wessel, Cheryl Anne ?Cherie?, 40, of St. Petersburg, died Wednesday May 17, 2000 at Robert F. Kennedy Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA of heart disease. A native of Elizabeth, New Jersey, she came here in 1969. She was a graduated of both high school and nursing school. She was a nurse at Menorah Manor, Bon Secours Maria Manor, where she had worked for 5 years. She was a Catholic. She enjoyed: sewing, swimming, ceramics and poetry. Survivors include her husband, James R. Wessel of St. Petersburg, one son, Jason M. Omasta of St. Petersburg, one brother, Dr. William F. Walsh of Westfield, N.J., one sister, Kathleen P. Walsh of Portland, Maine, and her mother, Helen Walsh of St. Petersburg. A Memorial Mass will be held 10a.m., Tuesday September 26, 2000 at the Holy Cross Catholic Church, 7851-54th Avenue North, St. Petersburg, FL.
