Obituary of Colonel Retired Chester M. Bill'' Willingham

Willingham, Jr., Colonel Retired Chester M. ?Bill?, 72, of St. Petersburg, died Tuesday, September 19, 2000. He was born in Tientsin, China and came here in 1974 from Seoul, Korea. He retired as a Colonel from the Army after 27 years and served during the Korean War and the Vietnam War. After his retirement from the Army, he was an Administrator for the Hillsborough County Clerk of Courts. He was a member of the Second Church Of Christ Scientist in St. Petersburg and the Sons of The American Revolution. He did Spiritual work at the Pinellas County Jail and was a Volunteer at VA Medical Center, Bay Pines. He was a 1950 graduate of West Point. Survivors include three sons, David Willingham, Los Gates, CA; Cory Willingham and Thomas Willingham, both of St. Petersburg; one daughter, Jan W. Phillips, Austin, TX, and three grandchildren.
