Obituary of Marvin J. Anderson

Anderson, Marvin J., 74, of St. Petersburg, died, Wednesday September 20, 2000 at St. Petersburg General Hospital. Born in Wells, MN, he came here in 1973 from Coppers Cove, TX. He retired as a Sergeant 1st Class in the United States Army, where he served during the Korea and Vietnam Wars. He also retired as a Supervisor at Madeira Beach Public Works Department in 1986. He was a Lutheran and a member of the Madeira Beach American Legion. Survivors include his wife Christine of 38 years, three daughters, Patricia Daniels of Kansas, Ellie Anderson of Seminole, and Joann Anderson of FL, two sons, Justice Anderson of Eaton, N.C. and Michael Anderson of IL, two sisters, Marcia Meyer of Kiester, MN, and Carol Blowers of Alexandria, MN, and 8 grandchildren. Family graveside service will be held at a later date at Bay Pines Cemetery. Anderson-McQueen Funeral Homes & Cremation Tribute Center-Bobbitt Chapel, St. Petersburg.
