Obituary of Simeon Scowcroft

Scowcrost, Simeon, 88, of St. Petersburg, died Sunday October 29, 2000 at Egret Cove Nursing Center. Born in Burylanchester, England, he came here in 1930 from his native England, and was a 1930 Graduate of St. Petersburg High School. He was a retired Staff Sargeant with the U.S. Air Force having been stationed at MacDill AFB for 21 years and a WWII veteran. He was an avid reader and walker. Survivors include 4 cousins, Robert ?Bob? Speaker and Gary Robert Speakman, both of St. Petersburg, Robert H. Speakman of Daytona Beach, and Cynthia Navolio of Ormond Beach.
