Obituary of Catherine Stergeos

Stergeos, Catherine, 94, of St. Petersburg, FL, formerly of Maysville, died, Wednesday November 8, 2000. Born in Turkey, she came here in 1963 from Maysville, KY. She was the daughter of the late Dimitrios and Fatini Chagalis Avram. She was a housewife and a member of St. Stephanos Greek Orthodox Church in St. Petersburg, FL. She was also a member of the Philoptochos Society. Survivors include her son, Gus Stergeos of St. Petersburg, FL, her daughter, Maria Mokas of Atlanta, GA, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Service will be held 9:00a.m, on Saturday Nov. 11 at St. Stephanos Greek Orthodox Church, St. Petersburg, FL. Knox & Brothers Funeral Home, 625-E 2nd Street, Maysville, KY.
