Obituary of Irving W. Lake
Lake, Irving W. ?Irv?, 82, of Largo and formerly of St. Petersburg, died Saturday December 2, 2000 at home. Born in Waterbury, Connecticut, he came to St. Petersburg in 1924, graduated from St. Petersburg High School in 1935 and moved to Largo in 1973. He was a retired Chief Bosons Mate in the U.S. Navy having served in WWII and Korea and worked for the local U.S. Post Office for 10 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Indian Rocks. Survivors include 2 daughters, Nancy L. Hassid of Houston, Texas and Karen L. Moulton of Spring Hill, and 2 grandchildren.
