Please know that you guys are in my prayers. I hope you're able to think more about happy times with Artie and not just this sad time. Although I know it's hard. Things that come in my mind about him are listening to him sing and play his guitar, dancing and singing to Simon and Garfunkel records played on an old console stereo you all had, hiking and canoeing at the land and catching my first fish there in that pond with him. I know he's resting easy now and watching over his family. My love to you guys, Kathy.

I remember "Artie" as far back as memory goes. We both went to the old West Central Elementary School through 6th grade, and attended Fifth Avenue Baptist Church from the late 40s/early 50s through High School. Vietnam sent us both in different directions and we lost touch with each other after high school. We were close friends up to those times. We loved the old Tarzan books and films. We were both in Boy Scouts in the old Troop 217 (Panther Patrol). We spent many summers at old Camp Soule, and throughout the rest of the year camping and hiking around the state with our troop. We were both Eagle Scouts and were inducted into The Order of The Arrow at Soule (Timacuan Lodge 333). Artie will be eternally etched into the memories of my St. Petersburg childhood, and all that encompassed. My only regret is not trying to find him later in life. Rest in Peace Old Friend! Robert S. "Robby" Adcock
