Obituary of Betty Wright Higbie

Betty Wright Higbie, 86, of Tampa, FL and former life long resident of St. Petersburg, FL, died Saturday, November 14, 2009. Betty was a 1941 Graduate of St. Petersburg High School and attended Bixby Business College. She was an Assistant Manager and Hostess at the former S&H Green Stamp Store and was a member of North East Park Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of 10 years, Wallace; daughter, Lynne (Dan) Damron; sister, Peggy I. Brooks both of Tampa; granddaughter, Kristen (Tom) Layton; grandson, Kevin (Katie) Damron; great grandchildren, Justin, Hannah, Walker, and Eli; nephews, Kenneth (Vicki), David (Debbie), and Larry Brooks; and long time family friends, Cheryl and Dick Rogers, and Cynthia and Bill Rottler. She was predeceased by her first husband of 52 years, William C. Wright, Jr. Entombment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
