Obituary of Mary M Major

Mary Manahan Major, 79, of St. Petersburg, Florida died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2001 at St. Anthony's Hospital. She was born in Penticton, British Columbia, Canada and moved to St. Petersburg in 1990 from Santa Rosa, CA. She was a breeder of Irish Wolfhounds and German Shepherds and was an American Kennel Club dog show judge. She was a founding member of the Northern California Irish Wolfhound Club and later founded the Florida Irish Wolfhound Club and Rescue Association. She is survived by two sons, Dennis D. and Joseph W., one daughter, Tracy Deannell Major all of St. Petersburg, seven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
