Obituary of Joseph V. Montoro

Joseph V. "Joe" Montoro, Sr., 90, of St. Petersburg, FL, died Thursday, March 26, 2009 at his residence. Born in Easton, PA, he moved to St. Petersburg in 1985 from Mammora, NJ and was the Owner and Administrator at the former Ocean Point View Nursing Home in Sommers Point. He was also a general contractor, built post offices, homes, a shopping center in southern New Jersey, and also was a real estate agent, and formerly owned the Pony Club Restaurant where he was the Master Chef. He was an Army veteran of WW II where he achieved the rank of First Sergeant. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Antoinette V. (Keis) Montoro; 2 sons, Dale A. Keis of Los Angeles, CA, Joseph V. Montoro, Jr. of St. Augustine, FL; 1 brother, Dante J. Montoro of Easton, PA; and 2 grandchildren. Services will be in south Jersey. $(document).ready(function(){ });
