Obituary of George C. Peters

George C. Peters, Jr., 83, of O'Brien, FL and formerly of St. Petersburg, FL, died Friday, December 23, 2005 in the emergency room at St. Petersburg General Hospital. He was born in Ogden, PA, moved to St. Petersburg in 1951 from Chelsea, PA, and moved to O'Brien in 1991. He was a Linotype Operator for St. Petersburg Printing Co. and then was the owner of The Composing Room in Joe's Creek Industrial Park in St. Petersburg. He was a member of the Sunshine Flying Club and was an Army Air Corps veteran of WW II. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Elizabeth A. "Betty;" three sons, George C., III of Lawrenceville, GA, Brett W. of Cape Coral, FL, Jeffry J. of St. Cloud, FL; one daughter, Lori A. Mims of St. Petersburg; one brother, Willard of Lewis, DE; eight grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, W. Kenny Peters. $(document).ready(function(){ });
