Obituary of Yoko Honaker
Honaker, Yoko, 83 of Clearwater, passed away on February 25, 2018.
Born in Japan, she met her Marine Knight in Shining Armor, Clyde Honaker, and came to the US in 1958. She was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend and child of God. Yoko could always put a smile on your face with her cute, funny remarks. She loved working, fishing, sushi, and Dancing with the Stars. She was a delight to anyone who had the privilege of meeting her, and will be sadly missed by the many who did.
Yoko is survived by sons, Lee Honaker (Karen), James Honaker (Harold Neal); grandchildren, Roy Honaker Jr. (Britany), Kayla (Sebastian ) Lynn, Carolyn Leckie (Daniel ), Jacob Honaker; Great grandchildren, Rowan Leckie, Rayne Honaker, Rylan Honaker, Liam Honaker, Anna Honaker, and friend, Amelia Wells. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Honaker and son, Roy Honaker.
A visitation will be held from 9am until the service at 9:30am on Friday, March 2, at Glad Tiding Assembly of God, 4200 17th Avenue North, St. Petersburg, Florida 33713. Yoko will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery. Online condolences can be shared at www.andersonmcqueen.com.
