Obituary of Waneta Reynolds

Reynolds, Waneta, 84, of St. Pete Beach died March 1, 2018 at Bayfront Hospital in the Hospice Care Center. Waneta was born in Shabbona, Illinois on May 15, 1933, the fifth child of William Thomas Wilcox and Jessie Marguerite Wilcox. She is survived by her brother, Walter Wilcox, and numerous nephews, nieces and adoring friends. Waneta was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Reynolds, her parents and siblings, Wayne Wilcox, Thomas Wilcox, Lillian (Wilcox) Demjchok and Francis Wilcox. Waneta and her husband of nearly 40 years were involved in commercial and residential real estate, first in Chicago and later around St. Pete Beach. She was active in politics and loved music, particularly the opera. Waneta entertained everyone she met with her wit and exuberant laugh. She lived life ferociously and will be sorely missed.
