Obituary of Georgia Danola Eddy

EDDY, Georgia Danola "Dannie" age 104, went to be with the Lord on March 7, 2018. Georgia was born and raised in Indianapolis, IN. She served in the US Navy during WWII, where she met her husband, Harry G. Eddy. They resided in Templeton, MA and moved to St. Petersburg in 1969. She worked as a beautician and many years as a home health aide. After retiring, she was a longtime volunteer at St. Petersburg General and Northside Hospitals. She was a founding member of Bright Promise Al-Anon group. She loved Bible study and her volunteer work, her dogs, thrift shopping, baking, decorating, and all kinds of music. She was predeceased by her husband, Harry; parents, Lottie and John Brown; and her siblings Charlotte Lucas, Dorothy Prater, Mildred Albertson, Denny Jr. "Bill" Brown, and John "Bud" Brown Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Storm S. Eddy and many nieces and nephews. Georgia's memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 20, 2:15 pm, at Bay Pines National Cemetery.
