Obituary of Kosmas Kosmakos

The man, the myth, the legend. Kosmas Kosmakos, known to many as "Captain K," passed away peacefully on Thursday March 22, 2018, at the age of 60. Kosma will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 30 years, Kathy and his five children, Dimitra, Georgia, Yianni, Vasilios and Alexandra. He was the Captain of Captain Kosmakos restaurant in Treasure Island. He is also survived by siblings Petro Kosmakos, Eleni Kokkinakos, and Vicki Gregorakos. He was preceded in death by his brothers George, Gus, and Niko Kosmakos. The viewing will be at St. Stefanos Greek Orthodox Church on Thursday March 29th at 4 PM and the service will start at 5 PM.
