Obituary of Thomas McClintic

McClintic, Thomas "Tom" 68 of St. Petersburg, Fl passed away April 11, 2018 at Inspired Living at Ivy Ridge. Born in Logansport IN and raised in Monticello IN, he graduated from Twin Lakes High School and Purdue University. While at Purdue, Tom played Freshman football and was a member of crew. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilmer and Gloria Paluchniak McClintic and father-in-law, Ava "Bud" Rosenbarger. Tom is survived by his wife Brenda; son Jacob "JD"; daughter-in-law, Megan; soon to be grandson; siblings, Linda (Andy) Harmon, Jim (fiancé Jen Gross); mother-in-law, Carolyn Rosenbarger; sister-in-law, Mary (Bill) Hollingsworth, brother-in-law, Dave (Jeanette) Rosenbarger; nieces, Angela (Ben) Dunn, Teresa (Zac) Taylor, Monica (Chris) Venters, Kristina Opdenkelder; nephew Jared (Ashley) Rosenbarger; several great nieces and nephews. Tom loved being outdoors, his many pets, sports and he loved coaching, especially coaching his son. Tom coached football at Twin Lakes High School for many years, enjoyed swimming and competing in triathlons. He and Brenda enjoyed traveling to Jamaica every year. He will be remembered by all for his love of life, family and friends. There are no services scheduled at this time. Memorial donations may be made in Tom's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
