Obituary of Dorothy M Green

88, of Largo, FL, and previously St. Petersburg, passed away May 2, 2018. She was a loving
wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Following her husband, Sam, through his careers as a farmer, police officer and a Navy Signalman she raised three daughters, often while he was deployed at sea. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Green; her daughter, Cindy Wheeler; and her fourteen brothers and sisters. Survivors include daughters, Pat (Tom) Thalheimer and Joan (Doug) Hellyer; six grandchildren,Tricia (Joe) Stanton,Carrie (Jeff) Campbell, Bryan (Tracey) Clampitt, Kimberly (Rocky) Morrill, Daryl (Jenna) Clampitt, Lesley (Kalon) Stiggins; 10 great-grandchildren,Shane, Kirsten, Jarred, Bryan Austin, Lauren, Tyler, Elise, Zoe, Noah and Micah. Memorial service will be 11 am, Saturday, May 19, at Anderson McQueen Funeral Home, 2201 Dr. MLK St. N, St. Petersburg. Visitation will be 10–11 am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to Suncoast Hospice.
