Obituary of Jill Amy Cooper

Jill was born in New York City on March 28, 1951 to Alexander and Evelyn Reinstein.  Jill, a quintessential New Yorker and an avid Yankee’s fan, moved to Florida in 1970’s to pursue a career as a Registered Nurse. She married Jay Levine and had one daughter, Samantha. In 1982, Jill and Samantha moved to Ft. Lauderdale and her RN career lead her working at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida, where she met Bob Cooper. They moved to Jacksonville, Florida and Jill and Bob married in 1988. Jill retired to St. Petersburg in 2012.  In retirement, she pursued her passions of travel, photography and friendship.  Jill lived life to its fullest. Her last moments surrounded by all of her friends and family. She was preceded in death by husband, Bob Cooper and sister, Linda Biegel.  Jill is survived by her daughter, Samantha Van Scoik; her son-in law, Brad; granddaughters, Evelyn and Charlotte; nieces, Sara Biegel and Lisa Buckner; and all of the lives she touched.
